Billie's Testimonial - Walking in Oxford
About Billie
Billie was born in Cambodia in 2008. Her first owners ran over her paw by accident and abandoned her at a vets as they could not afford the fees. Ben's (Billies owner) mum took her on from the vets and looked after her in Cambodia for just over 7 years. At the same time, Nicky began an animal welfare charity and so Billie lived alongside other rescued street dogs and cats during that time. At Christmas, Billie relocated to England in the hope that her skin and paw could be better treated over here.
Before Billie goes out on a walk a little shoe has to be put over over paw, she is then able to enjoy a gentle walk down the road to the nature reserve. Billie is very much a sun lover but finds it a bit of struggle to go outside in the rain. She is an extremely affectionate little dog.
Testimonial from Lucy and Ben T
Since Alice has started walking Billie, she has seemed much happier and calmer when we have returned from work each day. We met Alice beforehand and she was more than willing to deal with Billie's extra needs relating to a damaged paw. Alice always informs us if she notices anything wrong and it has given us peace of mind to know she is there to see Billie each day.
